A restored tharavad on the edge of Vembanad Lake with a pool and private jetty.

This 120-year-old tharavad (ancestral home) was moved timber by timber to its lakeside plot and restored by local craftsmen. The pool sits between the house and the water.

Take a country boat from the private jetty at sunrise, or visit the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary next door.
